Please Read This Before Making ANY Purchases. Making A Purchase Means
You Agree To The Following Terms and Conditions:
Hosting Account Terms and Policies
We do not allow the following. Any account(s) found breaking our
policies will be removed and canceled without notice.
Spamming (sending unsolicited email or posting messages to irrelevant
UsetNet newsgroups that do not explicitly allow advertising, with
references to a site hosted on our servers)
Sites, sites encouraging illegal activity or racism, sites providing
instructions or performing illegal activities. Any site conducting
illegal activities and / or copyright infringements.
Violations and attempted violations of system & network security.
Or any type of tampering with the system with the purpose to inflict
harm.
Peer to Peer / Portal and upload and download type sites related
to hacking and warez.
We are not here to be abused, if at any time we feel that you are
being uncivil we will deny support and your account may be suspended
and or terminated.
Any account found breaking the above policies will be suspended or
terminated immediately.
This applies to all Reseller accounts / Hosting accounts.
When we say unlimited domains, unlimited disk space and bandwidth,
of course there are terms & conditions that you must adhere to.
This means unlimited webpages, domains and web graphics, not downloads
or streaming media. Our servers are shared hosting servers and memory
and CPU usage is not unlimited. CPU intensive files are not permitted
on our servers and accounts may not to be used to host a collection
of mp3s, audios, videos, anime, .rar files, Warez, shout cast and
similar, or to backup your computer or another source. They may not
be used for general storage of any type. They may not be used as download
mirrors or download/upload portals. While the sale of eBooks and other
legal small download files are permitted within reason (see download
files below) with the unlimited package, hosting and storage of mass
quantities where our servers are used as a distribution point is not
permitted.
They may not be used for HYIP (High Yield Investment Programs), Ponzi
schemes or pyramid schemes. They may not be used to provide proxy
servers. All content stored on a reseller account must be directly
used on the Internet by the website associated with that account.
These accounts may not be used as a download distribution point for
your software or media. They are to be used for standard web practices
only. This means that all content stored on an unlimited account must
be used for "acceptable" website use. Unacceptable usage
is anything that a shared server would not be able to provide under
standard circumstances and uses a high percentage of CPU or Memory
(10%+) usage.
Giving away free hosting is not permitted with any packages. Our
servers are intended to host websites offering products and a service,
if you are giving away free hosting space that is compromising our
business customers.
Acceptable Use Policy
The Internet is a powerful information and entertainment tool, we
would expect our customers to use the Internet with respect, courtesy,
and responsibility, giving due regard to the rights of other Internet
users.
Our acceptable use policy is actively and strictly enforced. Offending
content or users are removed from our network, usually as soon as
they are discovered, although we will always inform you when and why
any action has been taken.
Common sense is the best guide as to what is considered acceptable
use, however the following are unacceptable uses.
Illegality: In any form, including but not limited to the unauthorized
distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data, harassment,
fraud, or trafficking in obscene material.
Undesirable Content: Certain types of content are not permitted on
our network. We do not host pornographic content of any description.
We reserve the right to determine what constitutes pornographic content
and what does not (see adult sites below). Content relating to Hacking,
Cracking, Warez and IRC is not allowed. Software downloads may only
be hosted if you are the writer and copyright owner of the software,
all other software including freeware, shareware and trial software
is forbidden. The sale of resellable eBooks is ok.
Bulk Email: The use of our network to send bulk email whether opt-in
or otherwise, and the use of bulk email to promote a site on our network
is strictly forbidden. As a guideline, we consider sending over 200
emails at once as bulk email.
Misuse Of Resources: Including but not limited to employing applications
which consume excessive CPU time, memory or storage space. Chat/IRC,
web proxy and mailing list scripts are not allowed on our network
under any circumstances. Streaming media, audio, video and shout cast
can be a drain on web server resources and as such is not allowed.
CGI based message forums which use flat file databases are often found
to use excessive system resources, to avoid disappointment please
use a PHP message forum. The use of web cam applications which maintain
a constant FTP connection uploading an image at regular intervals
is forbidden.
Password Protected Directories: Using password protected directories
to conduct illegal activities is strictly prohibited. Sites that use
password protected directories where their use is not clear are subject
to suspension while we investigate the legality of the hidden content.
If you are unsure about content you intend to place on our network,
please check with us before you do. We reserve the right to determine
what constitutes acceptable use.
Adult Sites:
Not permitted on server's.
Hosting Account Cancellation
If you are on a monthly hosting package you can cancel your service
anytime, we do not have any contracts.
There is a 14 day period to cancel and get a full refund. Note: After
the 14 day period from which you paid, All Sales are final and we
will Not Provide Refunds.
Data Back-Up
Buddy Hosting will not be held responsible for any loss of data. It
is up to the hosting account to ensure you maintain a local copy of
your web data for your own back-up purposes.
High Server Usage:
If your account at any time is causing a load on the server (10.0
+) Your account will be suspended and or terminated if it reaches
an unacceptable high.
Suspensions will last 24 hours AND After Contacting A us.
All sales are final, if your account is terminated you will not receive
a refund.
